I love my silkie leggings!!! I'm stoked to have found a place to order a variety of chicken print leggings that are high quality and affordable! Here's the link if you're interested... they have lots of other animals too. And of course they have cute prints that aren't animals lol...
Not exactly "decor" but I wanted to show off my super awesome leggings! I'm stoked to have found a place to order chicken prints that are high quality and affordable! Here's the link if you're interested... they have lots of other animals too. And of course they have cute prints that aren't...
Is it hard to get rid of/sell mixed breed bantam chicks? Gave my 2 broody girls some eggs and it our first time hatching. Just candled 21 eggs and only one wasn't alive. My husband is going to kill me if I have 20 more chicks! Lol
Here's a couple of pics of what mom & dad could be. I got the...
Some breeds on my wishlist are:
Cuckoo Marans
Lavender Orpington
Buff Orpington
Cochin
Speckled Sussex
Silver Laced (or Gold) Wyandottes
Brahmas
Legbar

They are kinda standing tall in this picture...
If that's why they look male (and maybe you have another reason), it was because I had my phone on "selfie" mode and they saw their reflection for the first time EVER and became very alert to the "strangers". Haha
The one on the left has too much...
Anyone know what color this one is? I know the parents were black and white (don't remember which was the mom & which was the dad). Nothing fancy, just some pet quality I got from a fb friend.
For comparison, the bird in question is on the right in this pic with his/her obviously black...
Do y'all think "she" will keep this uneven coloring? It seems like she has taken on more gray feathers since I brought her home, but maybe that's just wishful thinking? I got 3 silkie siblings about 4 weeks ago, the other two are solid black. They were born on June 23, so about 3.75 months...
