    I don't bother refrigerating. They have been on the counter for up to a week, usually are eaten or sold before then.

    The only reason I have a run is because I have a hawk that comes around often. The run isnt predator proof because they get locked in at night, just hawk proof. The only predators I've had/seen are black bears, skunks, raccoons, and hawks. If it weren't for the hawks I wouldnt have a run at all...

    if they are native blueberries then NO. they are too good to give away. if theyre chilean or californian then they are probably flavorless and okay for chickens. ETA: I didnt see you are from california. I meant the ones from big farms in plastic containers at supermarkets
