    I would think that you will not have any babies left within hours. Anything is possible, but I would err on the cautious side.

    I do not plan on selling eggs or quail, just enough for personal consumption. I have a breeder in my area that charges $2.50/dz..... Anyone know the break even point?

    Who says button quail aren't useful/practical?

    I read that soaking the hard boiled eggs in vinegar will make the shell disintegrate. then you remove the soft inner shell. Anyone have any experience doing this?

    I got an email from the person I got the eggs from. She gets a few of the crossed beaks from time to time. She said the whites throw a lot more crossed beaks than the browns and she has them mixed. Definately genetic. I am assuming that 99% of these die in the shell.

    I had 1 dragging a yolk sac around last night before it broke it off in the incubator and it still seems good and strong. Is there a shot that it will make it or really no chance for it?

    I was kind of curious as to why in the egg position study they did not turn the eggs small end down, only horizontally. Some odd studies, but maybe a little useful info here and there.
