    Love it! Would you be willing to share your waterer and feeder designs? I have my first hatch of quail chicks (Northern Bobwhite 4 days old) in the brooder now. Gonna build the grow out and breeding coops next week. I would appreciate any help and advice.

    It will be in my garage with a heat lamp above it. Should be able to regulate the temp. Otherwise I'll take the above advice and staple clear plastic to the sides. Thanks for the input.

    Almost finished with the brooder box...still have to attach the top and hinges. All the material except a $20 roll of hardware cloth was salvaged.

    Almost done!!! I am not sure how long the guys worked on it...i was out sick for two days. Today at lunch I finished stapling in the hardware cloth. Here are the latest two pictures...next time you see this puppy, it'll have babies in it and a brooder lamp hanging above it!!

    I have been working on the coop/tractor for the birds when they outgrow the condo... used pallets from work....3.5 x 8' 3' tall, cost so far 0$ we have poly and chicken wire @ home so I shouldn't have to buy much I'll post more photos as it progresses.
