I added a sponge with water when I did it, so humidity was quickly regained. No worries there. Heard peeping before I left for work, so someone is still in there; the gap without new hatches or peeping worried me big time.

No idea on the air cell, may want to start a thread so you get more folks looking at it. My guess would be that it'll be more likw a wrong end pip if the aircell stays off and the egg is upright. Not ideal at all but I don't think it is doomed even if you can't sort it. Good luck!

I find that I can do 3 hatches together in one large brooder without the oldest excessively bugging the babies, then I start a second brooder. But these are all my own flock in parentage so I don't know how gentle they are compared to other breeds. There is a tiny bit of pecking at the babies...
