Sequin -- I use egg wash on top of my Gump bread. Then I coat it with butter when it first comes out of the oven to keep the crust soft on the outside.
I used the bread dough to make calzones a few months ago...I stuffed them with mozzarella, capricola, pepperoni, and ham (along with pizza sauce). Mmm!
This one makes me think of Pac-Man! (I blame my DH, the video game geek...)

April, I am envisioning rolling it out, spreading it with pizza sauce and mozzarella, layering meats, then rolling it back up again. I think that would work well.
Now I want to know how to make calzones with this recipe... DH loves pizza any way he can get it. I see calzones with fresh pepperoni, capricola, ham (and mushrooms in mine!) in our future.
