Very porous shell, avoid setting those in the future if possible. I don't see anything going on in there that I'd like to see, I think it may have recently passed (after day 7).
At this point you can safely remove the turner, if you haven't already. Eggs that candle fully dark + air cell should be first to hatch. Those with dark + fluid + air cell will come along a little later.
Since I like to jar the eggs as little as possible, if I incubate vertically I candle by shining my flashlight down into the air cell. If I incubate horizontally, I shine in from the end while the egg is held horizontally. Those blood vessels are very delicate and without care, they can be...
Gentle is essential, no sudden movements or jarring, especially in early development. I handle as little as possible, but a broody hen will get on and off the nest and nudge the eggs around frequently, so just be gentle.
Third photo looks like a slightly more porous shell, don't make changes based on that egg. Mark the air cells, swap positions in your incubator with your smallest air cells, and check again in a couple of days.
Don't make changes based on the smallest or largest, or eggs that don't show...
All this incubating, candling, pipping and hatching talk is making me sad. It's just too cold here in winter to brood chicks outside, and I am not raising chicks in the house over the winter!
Come on, spring!
Correct, not normal. I had a really porous old LG that would not hold humidity, and ended up with turkey poults with dry membranes. I got rid of the incubator afterward but during that hatch, oil helped the ones that were trapped by an overlarge, overdrawn air cell.
After 14 days or so, you will see a lot of darkness. Veins are a good sign. It's when you see shadows and no veins before day 14 that you should worry.
Assuming the air cells are big enough or nearly so, I use the time when some begin to draw down as the signal to remove from the turner. Anytime after day 14 is generally okay, though, so if in doubt take them out.
Day 19/20 the egg will be nearly all obscured.
Just an opinion but the size of that air cell on day 8 makes me think the eggs may not have been very fresh when set. The only time I have had eggs ooze is when they had sat dirty for a couple of weeks before being passed off to me as hatching eggs. Air cells were huge. When I collect my...
