The "horn" is probably like these 2 pics, but black. I don't know what causes the "horn" growth , but have seen a few pictures online and an actual one in person a long time ago when I was younger. My dad raised oriental Thai game fowls and one hen had a"horn" on top just like the pics above...

I don't post often, but wanted to point out that white and blue lobes aren't limited to only Mike's controversial line. I've seen plenty of direct purchase green fire farm's cemani + svart hona and toni marie's cemani with color earlobes from white, blue to black etc. It's not as often seen as...

Black tongues in US/European cemani are next to none..at least as of current. If anyone says they have one or some with said color, prove it with a live video....im not talking about the underside of the tongue either..the top(whole thing has to be) Then you're to be believed ;) Anyway, pink...

Nope, these are my friend's in CA own heritage line. They say blue eggs and straight comb are very slim, but not this line of Hmong with natural blue egg genes and NN lol.

These little Thanksgiving day NN Hmong hatched from light blue eggs with black flecks inside the shell, so take that to only "real" cemani Lol[/IMG][/IMG][/IMG][/IMG]

I've asked many times before why the European/US birds looked the way they do and no one answered or knew why, but now I know..........and it was just as i suspected of cross breeding after they were imported to Europe. Apparently the first imported birds were frizzled and had brittle feathers...

I wouldn't say they are exactly hard feather in the sense like oriental gamefowl and regular cornish bantams are, but in between being hard and soft....so maybe a medium hard feathering ;) Even the Indonesian birds varies from one to the next, but they usually are more of a gamier build and...

I think she looks great. I like that she has a more slimmer body and not so fluffy/fat looking full of feathers. But to each their own Not the best quality pictures, but these two hens that a friend have, is what i would love to see the the American Cemani eventually become like or similar :)

Nice birds......in my opinion, they look right for the European type of Ayam Cemani.....some will be more rounder body, shorter neck and others a bit more slimmer, looking longer legs & neck etc......... I don't think they would have American lines?, since American lines were imported from...

Here's the thing about breeding black feather birds...they will not always breed true...meaning occasionally...you'll get birds with color like gold, silver, red/copper etc leakage....does that mean a leaky color bird is not pure bred???....depends on your source where it came from....maybe the...
