I think that sounds right. BabyDaddy Alex had a v-neck that eventually furrowed in making it a less obvious looking "v" but not the real POOF curls.

Beautiful! I have a couple that look so very similar INCLUDING the V-neck sweaters. What's up with that????? Do you think they will fill in or is that pattern "set" ??? Heads and overall chunky oval type looking really NICE on your babies. Whose the parents?

Now there's a plan! Geese take up a LOT of resources and need space. Having one breed really helps keep your sanity.

Domestic geese are not monogamous although some are quite particular and have favorites. I doubt you'd be happy with the cross. Some long streamers but not the "frizzle" you are looking for.

x2 Harry and Alex have a few curls left, but the "mediocre" colored curls group look pretty smooth in comparison. Amy, its funny you have that "goose and fig" picture. My geese ATE my fig tree *lol* I have it circled in a rebar and wire cage now, and it seems to be coming back. I guess the...

I use the bermuda hay for nesting boxes. It mats down pretty quick for bedding. Have you tried the horse pellet bedding? Stinks less than anything else, I think

I had some trouble initially as well, but Alex has his game face on going into this 2nd round of eggs. To be totally honest, it wasn't his fault at all. The girls "just weren't into him" ....at first. But now their hormones have turned on, and they WANT fertile eggs too. He was always there...

Well you can rest assured that the ONE SOLO egg will hatch and leave you scrambling to find it some company *lol* I set up only one pen this year with Alex, my best gander. He is out of your stock "Moscato and Trinity" via Cottage Rose and is turning into one handsome fluffy ball of HORMONES...

Christina is very right. Our neighbor trapped 16 raccoons last fall, and we found a dead one in the yard along with a possum and 2 armadillos. Moose was a stray and worth his weight in gold.
