Stubs are a fault? Is it only on the bantams? I have a chick out of 6 with stubble on one leg. Ither than that All are developing a lovely hersheys brown color as they feather.

size? I had LF BBS English orps. To big for a city yard. The bantams will give me all of the great orp qualities and will fit my square footage better :)
Pretty excited. I just received a half dozen chocolate bantam orp eggs. I have had lovely buff and B.B.S english orps in the past. But my yard is just not large enough for them. I have a flock of Duccle but its just not the same for me.
