I got 2 frizzles from Ideal Hatchery. One is nicely frizzled the other looks like a regular feather cochin. I am thinking she might pass on the frizzle if I breed her but I do not think she will ever look as Frizzy as the other one.
Smooth Frizzle I think is a breeding issue not a new thing.

He even acts all boy DH said he just hasnt figured out the exchange rate with the females yet so he is just a silly toddler boy.
I ordered from Ideal Hatchery in Texas. They are all healthy even the peanuts 13 days no losses or dirty bums. I am pleased with them and the feathering will will tell me more later. and I will share it

And 2 White Cochin Frizzle Bantams 1st is PomPom 2nd is Rah
These are my new babies. they came with 4 Silkies and 4 Standard Cochin so I can find my friendliest flock ever
In chicken breeds here on BYC I read that a con of Cochins is that they " cant get wet". If this is true can someone explain this to me i have 6 coming next week.
