Well MPC called to say the Milles aren't laying well... So no eggs for me yet. I'm trying to decide if I want a different breed or if I want to wait. Decisions decisions!

Well, the two are still kickin!!!! This happened last year too. I ended up only having one hatch. She became LouLou the house duck. I was able to keep two pigeon eggs alive also. (Whole house generator being installed in July!) and although they won't be part of this HAL, my Canadian geese are laying!! They're doing their own HAL!

I miss my pigeons. I recently moved and I locked my pigeons up at the new house for a few weeks and when I released them, they all flew back to the old house. Weird thing is,they fly 8 miles every day to get their breakfast at my new house, then back to the old barn. I hope the new tenents are Ok with them.

Good luck with whatever you decide Turken!

That's great Caesar! Fingers crossed they both hatch!

Free, that's kinda strange and kind of funny XD. I want pigeons. Are they homing pigeons, or is that just a normal pigeon thing?

It's day four of my incubation, and when I opened the bator to ad water I broke my own rule and candles three of the sixteen eggs, all of which had a wiggling little baby! Will candle officially day seven and maybe day ten, but couldn't resist XD

Probably a little late to this thread. I set 14 bourbon red eggs on the 4th. I've candled a few and most have small veins forming.

Will do a full candling on Thursday. Should see better formations in them by then.

Good luck to all others that are incubatinh.

No, you're not too late! We needs some turkeys in this HAL! I've got a turkey but got him at two months old, babies will be cute!!!

Update on my hatch- I did day 14 candle, out of 15 I think only 1 is alive. :(
Don't know where I went wrong, but on all the duds so far, the yolks have been ruptured. They look shipped, but the farthest trip they have been on is from the coop to the house.

I hope that is not so!
