Well MPC called to say the Milles aren't laying well... So no eggs for me yet. I'm trying to decide if I want a different breed or if I want to wait. Decisions decisions!

Well, the two are still kickin!!!! This happened last year too. I ended up only having one hatch. She became LouLou the house duck. I was able to keep two pigeon eggs alive also. (Whole house generator being installed in July!) and although they won't be part of this HAL, my Canadian geese are laying!! They're doing their own HAL!
Probably a little late to this thread. I set 14 bourbon red eggs on the 4th. I've candled a few and most have small veins forming.
Will do a full candling on Thursday. Should see better formations in them by then.

Setting 19 chocolate orpington eggs here in a few hours. They arrived by mail yesterday.
Moving my set date from today to this friday. Cold snap slowed egg production.
