My new Avitar is one of my cockerels from last summers breeding. He is 1/4 My Pet Chicken hatchery and 3/4 Boulanger... he is not my best roo, but I love how he posed in the snow. I let the birds out and he flew 15 feet from the door to land in the snow... he had never seen snow before and was all jacked up about it, lucky me had the camera ready and I got this wonderful shot.

heh, sort of like a show watching some of those auctions and how their numbers jump towards the end!
ever watch the auctions for some of the newest color imports? when the coronation sussex came they would go for $600-$100 for just 6 eggs. now the chocolate orps have been doing that!1 corgi, 1 cat, and about 25 chickens! oh, and 1 husband going 'clucky'!

Sandi, another Sebbie egg!! YAHOO! I think I have 2 developing out of 5 from another breeder. I'm trying to do everything possible to get them to hatch. It's funny how some breeds you just set em and forget em, they hatch like popcorn. Others you can try and try... no chicks :( My first Salmon Fav's, I was amazed at how many chicks hatched and they are SO cute!

... well, it should have been 4 but my son tripped and dropped an egg (Mahogany that broke) on a sebbie egg being held for auction... and made a divot in it
I am hoping she lays today so you will get your 4. I am using Elmers glue and paper towel to patch it- it was up high on the air cell, and the membrane was fine so maybe it will be OK... looks darn silly though. I found a site that recommended Elmers and tissue, but I only had paper towel.I hope it works, but if it does this will be a lonely baby unless the Muscovies hatch out close to it.
Sorry about the oops, had a talk with Gretel so maybe she will be nice and lay another for you
Family, dog, garden, aquariums, lizards, and chickens what more could a woman want? Why a horse of course!!!Family, dog, garden, aquariums, lizards, and chickens what more could a woman want? Why a horse of course!!!post #9627 of 133284/1/12 at 11:33amThanks, Sandi. I have a sizzle egg in the bator that arrived with a little hole. I used packing tape and it has developed great. It goes into LD in a few days, dues next Saturday. I am surprised it's made it. Actually, I think I have 2 eggs in the bator with packing tape. I know I have to be careful when it's time to hatch. Good luck with the Sebbie egg.
Did someone snatch up that other auction? I can't see it :(

Nope and no bids yet either, here it is http://www.ebay.com/itm/300689815935?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649 I even gave it a "BUY IT NOW" option for you, but you might have better luck (price) waiting until the close and putting in a high bid- I often get good deals that way because you only go up to the next increment. In other words if the bid is at 20 and I put 50 in at the last minute, I will probably wind up paying less than 30 for the item. Either way here it is
