I was in a Rural King store a couple months ago, and heard two people talking about the time they saw someone ride a HORSE into the store! I'm surprised they allowed that, because of a liability if it got spooked and kicked someone or bolted.

Was buying some bones at RK the other day and the cashier asked me what kind of dogs I had. Told her "big ones". She smiled and told me to bring them in next time I came in...had to tell her they weren't that kind of dogs. She looked confused. Told her they were working dogs and can't really leave the job.

Guess she wasn't used to dogs having jobs they can't just up and leave willy nilly to take a car ride they would hate, just to shop at RK and get a little dog biscuit given to them. Oh, my two would just LOVE all the attention but they both HATE riding in a vehicle, it's a 20 mi. trip...by that time they'd be so sick to their stomachs they'd just want to be HOME, where the ground doesn't move. Meanwhile, back at the homestead....who would be watching their flock for them?
