I am not sure about the Duckwing female, but I do not think it has white in the wings, as for the BBR the ones you describe are, Darker with a lighter breast is the BBR hen, the lighter with darker tail and head is the hen for the Partridge Pattern, the Cocks look very similar in the BBR and Partridge if you don't know what to look for, I have found there are more of the Partridge pattern than the BBR in most of the Reds that come from sporting birds, JMO!!! Lynn in Okla.
From description of first lighter colored hen I could not rule out wheaton as the color pattern.

Could someone post images of what a Partridge Cock and hen looks like, VS BBR and Wheaten? I would assume if she is Wheaten or Partridge some of the cocks in his flock would also show that pattern and that could help me figure out what she is.

Thanks in advance!

Life would be so much easier if you could photograph your birds. When it comes to color patterns, since I am not from a show background, my knowledge of color patterns is dangerously limited.

Does the computer you have now have a webcam looking at you?

No. No webcam on this laptop (it also has no battery life so it needs to be plugged in all the time)

I will try to borrow one from someone.

Have you tried Googling Old English Game Color Standards of Perfection!!! I know on Feathersite there are pics of most of the Old English in Standard or in Bantam, also Cackle Hatchery has Pics of Standard Old English!!!

The problem is when I google colors, I get so many different looking birds and I have no clue which one is right... :/

so just a pondering question what do you all feed your birds and how much and do you give them any vitamins/supplements on the regular basis

Diet varies as well as volume and regimen with respect to season.

For confined adults during production season my base ration approximates 50% layer pellets supplemented with mixture of chick grower and scratch grains. As molt of body feathers gets into full swing the layer and scratch components are reduced. Birds are moved frequently to ensure access to good grass. I also apply some fish during heavy parts of molt. During off season diet changes great to promote water intake when temperatures cause water to freeze and scratch is increased to provide energy. Scratch is purposely vague as it repressents my own mixture of intact grains that provide balanced protein as well as energy in form of carbohydrates and oils. Intact corn amounts kept low unless temperature get really low.

Hey fellow Gamefowl owners. I am personally new to gamecocks but my family in Alabama are certainly no strangers to the breed. I have some pictures of them that were taken yesterday and last week so don't be to harsh cause they are starting to molt

I also have some pictures of the 30 some odd teens that are running around that aren't quite ready to be pinned up. I haven't seen anyone else do this but we hatch our chicks with either by hen and stay with hen or by incubator then placed with hen then when they are big enough the free range until they get old enough and start fighting eachother and get pinned up. By letting them free range we believe it helps keep them alert and and builds muscle fast since if they don't find their way to a tree they will be dinner. All of these were taken with the iPhone 4S.
