Hatching Goose eggs

I quit turning my first go around with the eggs on day 25 and none of them internally pipped or hatched. I did open the eggs once I knew they had passed and they were all in hatching position except one that was malpositioned, several had the yolk and blood absorbed and a couple did not. I really don't want a repeat of my last hatch. I put my candler into the incubator and to see inside the egg without actually picking the egg up so I did not turn/disturb it and so far today, day 28, I cannot see any internal pipping as of yet. I'm at a total loss here. If they get to day 30 or so and there's no internally pipping would it be worth a shot to try to create an internal pip and see if the blood and yolk is absorbed and maybe give them a chance to live rather than just let them die? Thanks!

I would definitely NOT help with internal pipping. Such a delicate thing and a good chance you will kill the gosling if you do. I'm all for helping out with external if/when needed but would never mess around with internal pipping.

If your goslings don't hatch again this round you need to change what you are doing. Maybe your humidity is too high and they are drowning? triple check your temps, maybe give the parents a course of antibiotics before collecting eggs, stop misting and cooling, disinfect your incubator and try adding oxine in the water tray at lock down.
 
Okay, thank so much for the advice. My humidity has been spot on according to weight loss and size of air cells. I have checked all my temps over and over and all are consistent with several thermometers. I even had a 95% hatch rate with my chicken eggs that I incubated, that hatch rate is also including a quiter and one that died when it pipped on the wrong end of the egg. I did disinfect both my incubator and hatcher in between each batch of eggs, so I guess if these guys don't hatch I will try running the antibiotics and adding the oxine in the water tray. Here is a picture of my goose egg, today is day 29, I'm pretty sure that it has internally pipped for 24 hours now. I have not seen a distinct beak shadow, it is moving around a lot, but not making any noise, so I'm assuming it is okay? Am I correct in waiting until day 30 before making an external pip to help if it hasn't by tomorrow since it will be at 48 hours internally pipped with no progress? Just trying to prepare in case I need to assist. Thanks!!
