I used to have a flock of them. Just the thing is, they were the real deal Ameruacanas. My rooster was named Coal. A bit skittish, but he was coal black with a beard.I saw a picture of a black EE. Is that true? Do they really come in all black?

I learned something today! I didn’t know that! How coolI used to have a flock of them. Just the thing is, they were the real deal Ameruacanas. My rooster was named Coal. A bit skittish, but he was coal black with a beard.
There’s solid black Feathered easter eggers(and ameraucanas) with white skin and then there’s fibro easter eggers, if you’re meaning skin tone. Meyers, I think, sells those.I saw a picture of a black EE. Is that true? Do they really come in all black?
Let me tell you, I have had a bunch of different colored layers, and I STILL get excited over the cool colors! My coworkers laugh at me because I take pictures of them & show them off at work! The excitement will never go away.I just ordered my first Easter Egger! Just one, but I'm excited nonetheless. I'll be picking her up from Meyer in April. She'll be my first colored egg layer. Not only will it be exciting to see what her egg color is, but also what her feathers look like! I love that Easter Eggers' looks can vary so much from bird to bird.
I just wanted to share my excitement with someone! I don't know anyone in person who shares my love for chickens. I hope all of your Easter Eggers are doing great and I've been enjoying all the photos in this thread.
I can relate! I also am always showing photos of my chickens to friends and family. If it were up to me, I could talk about chickens all day, but I know I need to cut myself off sometimes because I'm sure I talk wayyyy too long about them sometimes to people who don't really know or care much about chickens.Let me tell you, I have had a bunch of different colored layers, and I STILL get excited over the cool colors!
