My mystery egg pipped. This is the egg that was under a hen along with 20 something bad eggs. Could be any mix of Silkie, Hamburg, Serama. Most likely pure silkie though as they are dominant in that pen.

Oh my goodness, love love them. Had a couple when younger, in my teens, had the sables, then, when I rescued and fostered, I had a beautiful tri like yours. Smart little stinks. Just beautiful!

I love our dogs! I love the blue merles, when they're pups they look like little wolves. The sable is my baby though, he was my homecoming gift from my husband when I moved over to Belgium. He's fat and lazy though, and both don't live up to their herding instincts when it comes to the chickens! Luckily they haven't killed anyone yet, but they're not allowed near the birds after the incident with Coreen my d'Uccle.

Gorgeous dogs hippie!! We just got a new addition last week. A 3 month beagle mix puppy. He's awesome! Im hoping that at such a young age we can get him used to the chickens

That MAY be best. Ours weren't raised around chickens (got the chickens around the year-old mark for the dogs) and they tend to chase them.

I will have to join up! I want to learn as much as I can about hatching with incubators and broodies before I think about hatching on my own. Plus I love these chats, when I can keep up!

My hatch is officially over. Total of 18 out of 28 hatched (23 made it to lockdown).. All healthy, no issues. Not great but OK for my still air Little Giant.

My CCL ayam cemanu cross hatched, and she's a pullet e She also got the fibro gene much more strongly than I thought she would - she is all black except for her middle toes.
