One of my EE ladies still hasn't laid an egg... She's 30 weeks old and isn't even showing "symptoms" of beginning to lay. My main question is, now that winter is decsending on us here in St. Louis, will she not lay at all until next spring?

Its possible that she will wait until spring. I have two Ameraucana pullets that have yet to lay and they are both just around 9 months old. I haven't given up all hope yet since the other two started laying after the days started getting short and cold but I might have to wait until spring for them. If you want to try giving them additional light in the coop, it might encourage them to start laying.

You never know what will happen. I was about to give up on my EE, and the morning of a big snowstorm a few weeks back, she gave us an egg.
