These are the Sweetgrass poults. The Sweetgrass tom has no evidence of penciling and the poults from the other Royal palm hen also show no signs of penciling. Unfortunately I let the hen with the best visible semi penciling go but at least she went with the tom that also had the best looking semi penciling. They should make some really pretty babies if they don't get eaten by their new owner's predator problem.Quit laughing at me R2elk....you know my two girls are pampered pets. Little sweeties!
What was the RP bred too to produce penciling? The penciling mystery is fascinating. I'll be interested in Aurora getting to the bottom of her penciling gene.
