Hopefully your beautiful EE's lay you some beautiful eggs! Mine do, I was slightly disappointed to discover my AM's, like yours, are actually EE's but the eggs are wonderful just the same. The blue eggs in my avatar are from EE's.

I think the EEs are bred to produce more eggs than a purebred Ameraucana or Araucana, and they can be just as blue.

I really didn't care if they were AMs or EEs, I just wanted the pretty blue eggs. If one of these turns out to be a roo, I wouldn't be too upset either...

I just want to know what's in my flock! I'm such a newbie I can't tell.. Lots to learn, I'm thankful BYC is here

I think this one is a pullet, coloring is right for a pullet.... the other one I would think is a roo....... red on the wings and the comb is looking suspicious.

I agree with you on this DM. At least by the first pictures.

She (or he ) is way more skittish than my other birds, so it's not easy to get pictures. I'll try harder tomorrow. I'm also taking this conversation to the Easter Egger braggers thread to keep things Ameraucana over here
