Yup, they are from you Jean! They're around 8 months old.

I'll post some better pictures this week when they're a bit more settled in.

The new girls are so, so sweet. Before I put them away in their temporary home for the night I took a few quick pics.

I've decided to calmly bigger girl Judy, she has lighter plumage of the two girls, her color is a creamy Wheaten throughout.

Saffron is the darker pullet. She's a bit more gingery in her hackles, hence the name, but still is very nice overall.

To make a good day even better, one of the girls left me a present in their kennel! This picture was taken outside without flash to try and capture the true color off the egg.
