Ron when you say 1 cup Sourdough Starter ...would you use 1 cup
flour and 1 cup water? (this would be an unfed starter)...Aria

In the crumpet recipe, sourdough does the same thing as buttermilk-- has the acid to react to the baking soda. That makes it raise.

Definitely use a medium size bowl to hold it all

I'm making dog cookies after work today. PB and Pumpkin plus PB and Banana. The person who writes the blog I got the recipe from feeds her dog a vegan diet, but I only use this recipe from there.

But NO other Flour? Just the Starter unfed?That could be l cup
of water and 1 cup of flour in a 4 cup bowl? Aria
