We had a short time of rain...stopped and now we have bright

I've been gone for bit getting adjusted to life with baby number 4, but I did have some time to make a cake the other day!

It's a chocolate cake with swiss meringue butter cream. It's filled with strawberries and cream.

I tried the spiralizer attachment for the mixer, using one of the slicer/corer blades. Nice, even slices of sweet potato to make into potato chips.

I've used all the sweet potatoes that were in the basement. A lot of them dried out and got thrown away, so I need to keep in mind that they're down there!

Just like with the potatoes. WAAAAY too many of them are going to get tossed. We should have eaten more of them.

I think I say that every year...
