I'm not sure where you learned this, but that's not quite right. Females can reach sexual maturity as early as 3 months of age (smaller breeds seem to mature faster than larger ones), with males of the same breed typically taking a couple of weeks longer. Males may start fighting and mounting things at a much earlier age (I have had a few males that had to be separated as early as 6 weeks, because they were beating up on their littermates), but they don't usually become reproductively viable anywhere near that early.

I have two Flemish giant females and a male.i had just breed a young doe to a young buck 35 days ago ..she has pulled hair and everything but no baby's yet.should I rebreed her or wate longer..it's hers and his first breedings.he falls over and grunts Everytime I breed him.hes just at breeding age I believe
