Another batch of babies and soon another batch

So a little story about this rooster n it’s little free range family. They are svart honas and my best stock. Well him n the hen had a chick on their own n she is old enough to not have heat. Long story short a hawk came down n killed the mamma n now it’s just the rooster n the baby I will try n get a pic of the baby

Strawberries have yielded a lot for the small patch we got two huge bowls so far n have to pick more. So I did a thing quail eggs r coming back into the jumbos. Also picking up birds tomorrow n got rid of a bunch today. Now to clean out the pens n make a raised garden bed for more strawberries
