Those taste awful compared to DQ. Really, we tried one once. I sent it back. Maybe it was just an older one or something.

He is now.
His family failed to get him home in time to leave to catch the boat on Seneca Lake for the lunch cruise. So I called a friend and took her instead! We had a great time.

The cake is very tasty! It is moist and the caramel pecan frosting is like candy.

It goes well with coffee. Have a slice!

A hawk made an attack on my flock today. I didn't see it or hear the alert. The flock was in an uproar when I headed out with their afternoon mash and I assumed someone touched the fence. Some were in the run, most were under the chicken bush. Then I saw the hawk fly up out of the pen.
I just did a head count and body check on everyone and they are all unmarked and accounted for. Whew.

Just made bison burgers, sweet potato slices, and sautéed kale.

The potato is cooked in microwave first (our microwave has a special potato setting, just enter the weight of the potato(es) and voila, baked potato. It’s great lol) and then sliced the short/wide way and sautéed/browned/crisped/fried/whatever it’s caled, idk, in a pan in olive oil. I cook it in the microwave first cause I’m impatient and otherwise it will take forever to cook all the way if I just do it in the pan

Haven’t decided if I’m having bread with it yet or not. Probably not but idk. Maybe one slice of Pepperidge Farm Farmhouse style oatmeal bread. That stuff is tasty. We don’t have any burger buns. Either way though, definitely going to be using ketchup and mayonnaise.

Glad to hear everyone is ok Dobie!

I was shocked when I saw if fly out. I don't know why. I see them fly over daily. This is the first attack attempt I'm aware of.

Sadly all of the DQs in the Davis and Woodland area are closed now
