Fact is the Princess went gambling, and I just tagged along. Gambling is not a good idea for someone like me. :p Princess did well in that she ended up slightly on the + side after two days of 'entertainment'. I busily people watched. The human being takes many and unusual forms.

:lau I love people watching at casinos!

@KDOGG331 - it sure seems that New England people like eating.

:lau guilty as charged!

But I also think at casinos and “vacation” type environments people eat way more! My mom and I went to that new casino in Boston a few weeks ago and we went to the buffet there and I ate soooo much :lau  way more than I normally would have but it was huge and awesome and they had all kinds of stuff so I wanted to get my money’s worth. :lau I imagine many other people on vacation feel the same. :D

Cherry pie is delicious too!! :drool

Do you make it yourself or use a filling?
I have made them both ways! I have a cherry pitter. Given the time of year, I will likely buy canned cherries and then make the filling from that-- Oregon dark red cherries

Yep, back from visiting your future home. :p Hope that once you move you do not have to travel routinely on I 95. :barnie That road can be a nightmare. We were in stopped traffic on the way home. On the way there S bound I 95 approaching the GW bridge was backed up for over 5 miles due to a broke down truck. We took the Tappan Zee coming home.
Yes....I'm aware!!! My route is typically from Ohio to Yorktown Heights (guide dog school) then Rt 84....Through Danbury (UGH...traffic!!)...84 to 91N and 91 almost to Mass. You do not want to go anywhere around there on a Friday after 3:00!!! Lots of people work in DC and live in Conn and go home Friday night. Last time I went it took me 13 hours to get to Yorktown....and my future home is 2 hours beyond that. It took 5 hours!!! So what is normally a 12 hour drive was 18!! Luckily I won't live anywhere near that craziness....I'll be in tolland county.....almost on border of CT/MA.....very rural.

Yes, yes indeed. I'm back folks - brewed an afternoon pot.
I have a funny story for you about the chicks

So I move my basket in the incubator to three different positions each day so that my eggs are turned thoroughly.

I went in there when I went to go check on the chicks and I realized that the basket was crooked. I never put the basket crooked in there.

I opened up the incubator and lifted up the basket...

There's a chick in it 😂😂😂

I thought my eggs were possessed. I almost got the sage out 🙈
