Fact is the Princess went gambling, and I just tagged along. Gambling is not a good idea for someone like me. Princess did well in that she ended up slightly on the + side after two days of 'entertainment'. I busily people watched. The human being takes many and unusual forms.
@KDOGG331 - it sure seems that New England people like eating.
I have made them both ways! I have a cherry pitter. Given the time of year, I will likely buy canned cherries and then make the filling from that-- Oregon dark red cherriesCherry pie is delicious too!!
Do you make it yourself or use a filling?
Yes....I'm aware!!! My route is typically from Ohio to Yorktown Heights (guide dog school) then Rt 84....Through Danbury (UGH...traffic!!)...84 to 91N and 91 almost to Mass. You do not want to go anywhere around there on a Friday after 3:00!!! Lots of people work in DC and live in Conn and go home Friday night. Last time I went it took me 13 hours to get to Yorktown....and my future home is 2 hours beyond that. It took 5 hours!!! So what is normally a 12 hour drive was 18!! Luckily I won't live anywhere near that craziness....I'll be in tolland county.....almost on border of CT/MA.....very rural.Yep, back from visiting your future home. Hope that once you move you do not have to travel routinely on I 95. That road can be a nightmare. We were in stopped traffic on the way home. On the way there S bound I 95 approaching the GW bridge was backed up for over 5 miles due to a broke down truck. We took the Tappan Zee coming home.
I have a funny story for you about the chicksYes, yes indeed. I'm back folks - brewed an afternoon pot.
