Yeah? I've only owned goats, which was a few years ago.Way better than any goat!
In my opinion, yes. I had both. Sheep don't climb fences or eat your clothing, etc, and Katahdins are very low maintenance, very parasite resistant, and have sweet (and not rude) personalities. Our goats always had parasite problems, but we didn't need to deworm our sheep for YEARS.Yeah? I've only owned goats, which was a few years ago.
Wow, that's good. So with the Katahdins, what is their purpose if they don't have to be sheared? Milk? Or are they just pets?In my opinion, yes. I had both. They are mainly raised for meat. I don't know if they're any good for milking. I do know they make fantastic pets. A little harder to tame than goats, but totally worth it.Wow, that's good. So with the Katahdins, what is their purpose if they don't have to be sheared? Milk? Or are they just pets?
Max is always so sexy in his pictures.Besides chickens, I have Painted Desert sheep, Australian Shepherds, and a cockatiel. Please share photos of some of your pets and livestock.
