Colorado

A lot depends on the individual chickens. There is a good chance there may be some integration issues juveniles vs small chicks.

You need to come over and see them and then decide.

We are keeping 5 EE pullets, that leaves at least 7 cockerels (we think) and up to 2 or 3 pullets. 2 go to Sharon. that leaves at least 1 (we think, possibly more) and the cockerels.
We currently have 19 dom pullets. 1 or 2 go to Rock Ledge Ranch. 2 go to Sharon. That leaves about 15 remaining. we are keeping only 2 roosters out of 14. I could part with up to 2 dom pullets, but no more than that right now. Next spring we will be crawling with chicks I hope.

Here is what my "partner in injury" Dale and I did yesterday afternoon. We should have the cement in by this afternoon. Measures 10 ft by 12 ft. Level and squared up.

the offending shovel in seen in its proper place, out of the way. Now.......

Cuddles, I had to do some searching, but I found these:

Can I come see them and decide, too? Decide on what I can't say, but I might need to bring my man along, just in case I decide my girls need a buddy :D

Is that a raised bed you are working on or a platform for the coop?
