I have found my people!
It started with two and then there was four, four became 18, a lost one moved in.. now babies, I'm up to 38 after the last three that hatched last night. I need to get it back down to 20.. a couple new mamas and theor 15 babies have swam under the fence and are helping clear the weeds from the neighbor's slew. (The mama's were smart, to keep me from gathering their eggs they nested over there) now that they're teenagers I need to get my hands on them and find them homes, neighbors are understanding 40 ducks, 100 +might be pushing it.LOL

It is a hard addiction to resist. The duck math forces are strong. I would love to see your ducks!

I just hatched out 5 ducklings 2 weeks ago, and I have 4 more in the incubator that just went into lockdown. And I feel like that is a lot right now.

[New duck mommy 2021]

I went to get a few ancona ducklings to grow out to keep girls
Somehow while there I ended uk with Stella the gosling
She is my best friend now
Enjoys her daily cuddles several times a day but has also bonded to my oldest duck daisy
As for the anconas I kept 4
Brown , silver , blue or lavender not sure what she is
And 2 blacks as well as one of mine the school hatched that looks blank Swedish but came from my pekin x khaki mom and my blue Swedish dad
So far the black Swedish , silver and brown are for sure girls the 2 blacks maybe just need another week ti be sure
How will I choose if they are all girls

I didn’t think I wanted or needed a goose till I got Stella
Got her at 5 weeks
She is now 10 weeks
She still loves me abc doesn’t run away from me
She will let anyone hold her but I have ti be the one to pick her up and set her on their Lap
I’m her favourite person
