Ducks injured by raccoon

Glad to hear she made it through the night. Be very careful if you try to feed with a syringe, she can accidentally aspirate and choke.
Thank you. I'm not putting it down her throat, just a little bit in the front of her mouth. I've been letting her swim in the bathtub and she's been trying to act normal. Afterwards she preens herself as best she can. I'm trying not to have too much hope, but she's showing interest in normal duck things.

Have you tried making her pellets into a soup? put warm water on them and see if she'll drink it with you holding the bowl up so she doesn't have to bend her neck.

Okay here is another way that is safer than squirting into the mouh where it could go down the wrong way.

Ive tried that first way and she's too afraid. I'll try the second way and see what happens.

@Tapioca how is your duck doing today?
She is okay! I have fed her twice using the "safer" method you recommended. She has had 3 relatively normal poops today. She is happy to swim and bathe in my bathtub, but still shows no interest in food. She's drinking well and seems to be getting a little more flexibility with her neck. I ordered a tube feeding kit with a larger syringe from Amazon. I'm willing to try tube feeding. I definitely know where not to put the tube after looking down her throat. Thank you for checking up on us.
