First time hatching. Day 22 need advice

Thanks. I did just that. My husband unfortunately didn't make a window for the incubator so I'll check again at 430 I suppose. (Two hours after I replaced it)

You may need to keep moistening that membrane every so often. Keep your humidity as high as possible. Kèp us posted.

I just moistened again. Chick hasn't done anything. Moves its beak around a bit and Cheeps. Not sure when or if I should go all the way and assist it out.

It may still be absorbing it's yolk and blood vessels. Try and let it push out on its own. Keep humidity 75 or above

I am doing the same thing with mine. It is malpositioned, trying to push out to the side.

It's still in there alternately resting and wriggling and chirping. The wriggling helps the yolk and blood vessels to absorb. I have the humidity at around 80 to prevent the inner membranes drying out. This is gonna be a long day. Will update when it gets out.

I add hot water. Sponges and rag whatever it takes.

Precious! Ours is still stuck. No movement other than beak. But one in the back is hatching!!! Got a whole foot out. Looks like it unzipped on the underneath of the egg.
