I hatched some eggs from friends and friends of friends and got this little surprise. I don't know anything about them so can you all tell me....Does it need any special care and the big question is can they handle the cold (down to -20F in an insulated, unheated coop)?

A little frizzle chick next to my muff faced chick. I think e black is a silkie Ameraucana mix. I'm not sure about the other. They both have feathered feet. My little Serema pullet has been mothering them.

Hello! I am new to the forums, I just got 3 chicks from a box at a store, they didn't know what kind they were.... I was told in a Cochin forum this one is either a Frizzle or a Cochin male (apparently they take a while to grow in their feathers).

Would any of you be able to shed like on this, since you are professional Frizzle owners (and perhaps of other breeds too)!!!!!
