Another question..
Why do Tori and Heidi have big nipples and Fancy doesn't? They are the aged does.

Breeding. Milking does are bred to have bigger nipples. Pet goats aren't generally.

Fancy is a Fainting goat and Tori and Heidi are purebred Nigerian Dwarf. So my new ones are milking goats so have big nipples?

Yes. It's near impossible to milk a goat with tiny nipples. I've tried it. Fainting goats are pets. Nigerian dwarf are a mini milk breed, so they will produce more milk and have a bigger mammary system all around. Bigger milk breeds have even bigger ones. It's all about breeding for the ease of milking them for the human.

Hey..good to see you on here...I wasn’t checking...I milk my ND...she has pretty small teats..it works a totally different part of your finger muscles..and if you use a machine..I’ve gone through three..and very expensive...didn’t care for them....anyways..with a machine you usually need to buy the attachment for smaller teats....plus, just to warn you...milking ND can be more of a challenge, in my experience...they seem to think they are a fancy pants breed... And they give me a tough time on the stand..Chris had to rig me up a sling to hang her up about an inch from the stand..but she still kicks the bowl...ugh!! So, my advise, empt6 your bucket often, because you can lose that precious milk you work so hard to get! Also, ?ND milk is nice and creamy, with a ton of rich cream, and a lot of rich froth...we like to use it for ice cream, and save the more bland stuff for cheese, etc...

Just had a surprise delivery! My little Ingrid wasn’t due for another two weeks (or so I had thought) and to my surprise I found her pushing out a little baby while doing my nightly chores! She had QUADRUPLETS! Poor thing is a first timer too. Sadly one of the quads was a still born, and the others are a bit on the smaller side but are looking healthy nonetheless. I’m a little worried about her being able to nurse all three since her udder has barely bagged up, but she’s doing a good job nursing them so far..

I had one have 5, but she lost 2 of them. Yours are adorable.
