I'm not an expert so if you are really need to know to make a decision I would ask someone else I've never owned a Barred Cochin. I have owned barred breeds, and the females are darker than the males when feathered. Barred cockerels will have a lighter/more silvery appearance with more white. The comb of your chick also looks pale and small, which usually indicates a pullet.

However, the pictures may wash out the color of the comb - so I'm not sure about that.

I'd say I'm 60% sure.

I don't think she's pure, she is a hybrid ( a X breed). Try searching in Google for lohmans or warrens, she could be one of them two, but I'm no expert on hybrids
