I am sure they could be somewhat trained if you only have a few. After all, I trained my first chickens to stay out of our living room. 
. My problem now is I raised the babies in the house, so they don't come up to the patio doors to see their reflection, they peer in to see what we are doing! Heaven help us if we are sitting down to dinner, lil boogers want to come on in and eat too!
My back patio door and a very spoiled Orphan Annie! I guess I caused this! Also hangout for the grownups too!
