At first I found them ugly and still see a few every now n then that are ugly. However I love them n they have really grown on me and find most of them gorgeous!

He's beautiful! Have you checked him for mites or any kind of parasite?

So apparently what I meant when I said I was checking him for pests tonight was that I was waiting for it to get cold and rain really hard at night. No pests. I think I did see big old new feathers growing in slowly. I did give him a nail trim. They were pretty wickedly hooked over. I'm guessing they were overgrown as a result of his bow legged stance. Could this come from maybe a niacin deficiency in ducklinghood and that's why I'm not seeing it in his offspring yet it's causing so much trouble for him?
