my first eggs!! who laid them?

Question...the chickens killed my grass it is now dirt....do they need grass? Or is dirt OK? Is there anything you can put in the dirt when tilling to neutralize the odor?

I wish my first day I have been that pretty. mine was very small and soft and she laid 2. One right after the other. I guess this is when the pullet is stressed sbout laying. She holds the egg inside too long and it is called over calcification. Should straighten out soon.
