My leukemia's back.

I have a close friend that had a mild stroke on Tuesday night. I am hoping that I can get you'all to pray for her health. She had COVID-19 a couple months ago (even though the test came back negative, we all know that is what she had) and has been in the hospital a couple of times since because of her epilepsy has been acting up - the doctors have been trying to adjust her meds and I am praying that they can get it right.

It does sound like the slow covid-19 symptoms!

I hope she recovers but it will likely take a long time

I really haven't wanted to post this, but denial can only take you so far.......

Some of my byc family remembers I was diagnosed with leukemia in June 13. I did all the chemo and had a clean bone marrow in Feb 14, indicating remission. Well, that didn't last. My labs started dropping and I had another bone marrow biopsy, it confirmed I'm relapsed. I go back to OHSU in Portland on Tuesday for induction chemo again. This means a 4-6 week stay, 250 miles from home

. It's going to be quite a challenge for my family. My honey's having a hard time not being able to be with me, but he's got to hold down the fort at home. The boys aren't happy, of course, but at least we've had some warning this time. After Induction and some more chemo, they'll be looking for a bone marrow donor since I don't have appropriate siblings. This whole process is going to take a long, long time.

I know God's got my back with this, and it's His plan no matter what happens. It's just hard being so far from my family. And then even when I can come home, I'll be immune compromised and have to live like a germaphobe again--most of you know I'm pretty much the opposite of that!

So, I'd again encourage anyone who is able to donate blood. Not specifically for me, but for everyone like me out there who relies on a transfusion to keep going.

All my friends who are praying folk--your prayers are always accepted! For those who aren't praying people, feel free to start any time

I'm sorry before I posted the following I didn't notice how old the post is, I'll still leave the info on the treatment just in case anyone else needs it... My condolences.

There's a treatment here developed by a chemical engineer (he himself had leukemia since he was a kid and vowed to find a cure for his illness), he did. He developed a compound from minerals and cacti and treated himself with it and was cured completely.
He then shared his treatment with whoever had a number of illnesses. It's not a drug, doesn't cause side effects, it's a number of drops you consume each day for a certain amount of time.

On a side note we know many people that have been cured of different types of cancer, ostheoporosis, well the list is long.

My husband when he was young was saved from prostate cancer, and my father just last year had to have a colectomy (he had tumors in his colon) and was cured from the metastasis in his liver that resulted from the cancer in his colon; and aunt of my husband got cured of advanced ostheoporosis and a neighbor of lung cancer; it also cures kidney stones, anyways the list is long like I said.

And since he decided to do it to help people the vial is really cheap. My father consumed them for 6 months (basically he went through 3 vials). If anyone might be interested and need it, let me know.

I know many people are opposed to alternative treatments, but I'd like to share the following with you and well maybe you might find it as an option.

Thank you for this well thought out response... however, Donna Rae wrote that back in 2014, and has since died.

This thread has been kept going to help members through death and grieving in many various forms.

A sort of community hospital waiting room if you will.

As well as a way to remember Donna Rae, who had such a cheerful loving heart.
