Orange Sherbet! That is the perfect name for him. I think he is handsome.
I will get a new pic of him and the others tomorrow!

I am new to chickens and have 3 silkies, a cuckoo, a porcelain, and a splash, your partridge is beautiful! In the future I will definitely be getting a partridge

The red is too bright for that to be lavender. Lavender dilutes red pigment as much as it dilutes black pigment. He could be split to lav, but that means it has absolutely no affect on either pigment. What you are thinking is lavender is almost certainly blue.
Shes talking about the blue ones not the buff red/black one. Those I'd call blue parti. I have 2 that came out of a partridge pen that I bought eggs from that are identical so I know GENETICALLY they are blue - partridge not buff.
This is Snickers, notice the red/gold in her and the penciled look to most, its hard to capture on her because shes so dark...but many say THIS is blue partridge....its just what most people are breeding for at the moment, but its SO hard to see it, and looks SO much like just a leaky dark blue...I don't like this variation, I much prefer the lighter OBVIOUS partridge marked (penciled) lighter blue birds
