Do they like Meal worms? Can I start giving them worms now at one week and two days old?

It is very hard to sex them. I usually have to wait a couple of months to determine male and female. I wish that I knew how to sex them because when people contact me to buy some, they usually want a pair and it's hard to determine male/female at birth.

I have never fed mine meal worms but I"m sure they would like them.

I added grit to their chick starter today, they liked that.
They also have a pecking stick which they seem to enjoy to peck at.

Well, I am off to finish painting the coop.

Good cool day today in Loxahatchee 78 with a breeze. We will not have this nice weather for much longer before the heat sets in.

They will eat meal worms but, any fluttering moth you offer up between your fingers will be appreciated
Or just tear off one wing and drop them in front of them.

I think they will eat anything and I noticed that they really like to be hand fed... they came spoiled. lol
