Rediscovering Traditional Meats from Historic Chicken Breeds

You should get it out and try it! I am amazed how good things taste in such a short time! Whole chickens cook really quickly! I am having to retrain myself from my crock pot ways, but I think it will be worth it! (And, of course, the crock pot will still get plenty of use for other things!)
 
So I have an All American pressure canner, not electric...would this work? Maybe I'll have to look for the manual and read up on it.
 
i like articles like this im trying to have a dp flock of chickens my self i dont really need lots of eggs or lots of meat im going to try to keep my flock to 35 birds or less

Lol I'm in the same boat with your flock number so with chicken math considered that's like...50 birds because 65 little birds are a decent sized flock of 100... :jumpy
Just a few man I'm not crazy I can kick the chicken habit any time.
