I am from Bakersfield originally and I remember the open coops they were so cool and easy to build but when I got out of the service I made Indiana my home and coops here have to be cold friendly and that means a lot more work, I have been working on my new breeder coops for about a month now, they are getting close but not fast enough lol. I love your coops they sure bring back memories.
Hi I was thinking of getting some turkeys. I have a barn, with one stall connected to a run that is all chicken wired in. And the bottom of the stall door was removed so they can have access to the run all te tim. IS this a bad idea? can they fend for themselves against racconns, possums and stuff that can get over my 5 ft fence? coyotes and foxes arent a problem, so are they ok?
