SEVENTH ANNUAL WI CHEESEHEAD BASH

We're still hoping to make it, but it kind of depends on if DH2B is still in the fields then. It's been a slow year for planting down here.

I too am interested in who will be having chicks or hatching eggs available and how much they'll be asking?

BigZ I know buckeyes have been on DH2B's list for a while now. Are yours heritage stock? How are their temperaments?

Buckeyes are on the critical list for numbers. Heritage are what they are, and I won't say they are show quality, but it's a nice line I've been breeding for years....I'm not worried about money for them...donate to the cost of the bash weekend, and I'm good to go...no cost to you on demand. Hatch rate will vary for everyone...I can't control that. You won't be out major dollars like some folks seem to need to charge...we are all friends here. I collect a couple times a day...store properly, turning them at least a couple times a day.

Thank you I know they're originally heritage but I know some hatcheries do sell them too so I didn't know if their stock was geared more towards production.

How are their temperaments? Do the roos have aggression issues at all?

If we can't make it to the bash would you consider shipping some eggs?

Come one, come all to the best bash of them all! The 7th Annual WI Cheesehead Bash June 3, 4, & 5.

Camp is located at N11605 Boy Scout Road Clintonville Wi, 54929...It's just off hwy 45 about 4 miles North of Clintonville. Boy Scout Road is a gravel road that you take to the end and then through our gate to the 60 acre private Camp, with a main lodge (two rooms of bunk beds) complete with a kitchen, bathrooms, showers, plenty of comfy seating, etc. Plenty of mowed area for tents or 12 hook ups for rv's or campers.

As a way to raise funds to cover the costs for the facilities we have an auction & raffle (Remember to bring cash to buy tickets!!!!) The white elephant is a fun game that we play every year...so if you come, bring something wrapped. It can be something from home that you no longer need for example or something really useful that will get traded a bunch!!!!!

We have a "Pitch-In" Saturday around noon....simply bring a dish to pass for the pot luck....we have a full service kitchen....keep that in mind if you come Friday and plan to stay through Sunday, you will want to bring enough food/drink for yourself and your family.

Inevitably, we will have animal and plant swaps. Please make sure that only healthy animals are brought in to exchange

.

As we have a shared space, we also share in the cleaning duties throughout the day (dishes, garbage, etc). Please do your share!

Sunday Clean-Up - prior to leaving, please do your share to assist sweeping, moping, dishes, bathroom cleaning, ground clean up, trash collection. We don't have garbage pickup at Camp...so if you bring it in...take it home....thanks in advance for that.

Looking forward to seeing you all!!!!!!!!!!!

Do we need to register for this, or just show up?

I unfortunately will not be attending. I sure do not like it when all things ae organized and arranged to go on vacation and things change. If I do arrive it will be last minute and Jessica will be driving. My dog and chicken sitter fell threw. I will keep looking for a replacement...
