Here in Alaska we all relish any time we have dirt showing instead of snow! I save soil to thaw by the woodstove during the winter so my birds can still enjoy their dirt baths during the long winter months of living in the coop. Here is one of my Golden-Laced Wyandottes enjoying her bath last summer.
