That'a boy! Had real good luck with mine even with just open sights. I use hornady bullets and primers work like a charm, I'm sure yours will too.

This muzzleloader i have is just a cheapie. It’s a Wolf. It was my dads. He passed away in 2012 so I acquired it. Along with this slug barrel for a mossberg 835.
Both the muzzleloader and the slug gun are sighted in for 50yds. Don’t shoot real far here. Last I was shooting the 270 grain power belts and lightfield 2/34 slugs. You haven’t lived until you spend a day sighting in a slug gun.

Nothing wrong with wolf never heard really anything bad about em. As long as it shots straight that's all that matters looks nice to me. I got my knight used it has scope mounts but great open sights and all I took with them was under 60ish yards.

I bought our then 13yr old foster boy a cva scout break action 243 you talk about a dang good shooting gun! I shouldn't have gotten rid of it.

Took the breech plug out to wipe it down and make sure all was well. I cleaned it good and greased the plug before I put it up so all good. Yeah it ain’t a bad gun. Can use the open sight under the scope too. Shots will be well under 50 yds anyway.
