Are my silkies small for 6 weeks old. Born June 11th. Wonder what sex they are can't go by comb as my hen who hatched them had a good size one.

They look like they are very similar in size to my 6 week olds! Wow those are some big combs !!!!

I have a couple questions about breeding paints. If you breed paint to paint. You can get paint,black,white. My question is are the blacks carrying paint or not? From what I've read they do not carry paint. Is that right or wrong? And the white's are they Dom or Res and do they carry the paint gene? Are they paints or not?

Wondering if there is anyone in Southern Indiana with silkies for sale. Looking for a rooster and two or three hens. Not particular about color, like everything except white.

Besides her, I have 3 other silver partridge, 3 blue partridge, and one regular partridge. Lol my birds are making a lot of partridges.
