We have been receiving an abundance of calls and emails regarding the shipment of baby chicks during the COVID-19 outbreak in the United States. As of 4/18/2020, there is still no disruption in the shipment of any orders that have been placed. There is no evidence that COVID-19 can affect poultry or evidence that COVID-19 can be transmitted from poultry to human or vice versa.
As always, you should practice good bio-security with your flock. Wash your hands before and after handling your chicks.
